How To Treat The Tingling Sensation And Nervousness Caused After A Malaria?

i am 24 yrs female from india, i ve been diagnosed with malaria(p.vivax) 1 week back, i was treated with chloroquine for 3 days, and was given 14 days primaquine course, since the onset of malaria symptoms i feel tingling of nerves all over my body and restlessness, even after treatment, is this common?

Hello
As you mentioned that you took chloroquine and radical treatment primaquine i.e a complete treatment for P. vivax.
Now about after effect of malaria as well side effect of quine group ( chloroquine & primaquine ) , as I have noted that patient feels tingling in nerves all over body and restless leg pain ( in calf muscle ) . This is very common in these patient .
When such patient visit I usually prescribe them to take B 12 CAPSULE or tablets with antacid ( good if it contains oxytacaine ) for another 10 days .
Plenty of fluid , curd, and milk product advised.
Sometimes intravenous dextrose with multi vitamin injection also help.
