How To Treat Typhoid In Pregnancy?

Please doctor I have being having typhiod for almost a month now and I have visted two hospitals, I feel well for a few day and later sick again... Am also pregnant but the typhoid is killing me... I have done HIV test and my result was negative.... Please what can I use to treat myself and will not affect my baby

It seems you are having drug resistant typhoid fever.
This can be quite dangerous to you and your baby, if it is left untreated.
Please consult an obstetrician at the earliest.
If required, referral to a physician should be done.
You should take antibiotics for the typhoid fever.
Avoid eating from outside.
Take boiled water.
Maintain strict toilet hygiene.
SOmetimes, intravenous antibiotics might be required to treat notorious infections.
Proper testing should be done to confirm that this is indeed typhoid.
Serial titres will confirm severity of infection, and whether it is properly healing.
Do not defer or neglect treatment for long.
