Hi,
To control high grade fever in 2 year old child at home, one has to use-
cold sponging, good hydration/nutrition
Syrup paracetamol 2.5 mi every 6 hours
If tempereture is not controlled within few hours, it's better to consult a child specialist, for children have very delicate health.A complete evaluation of the health with physical examination/investigations-to be followed by treatment is advised.
Thanks.
