Welcome to Healthcare magic . Thank you for posting your question. I can understand your concern.
I can understand that you are anxious about your weight gain . Yes these anti-depressant drugs do cause weight gain. Now , to be in good shape you must follow a strict routine.
Actually there is no magic plan to achieve weight reduction , but I can certainly help you out.
Try to maintain a balanced diet with cereals ,
proteins ,vegetables . Even a little oil and fat is also required. Try to eat around 4-5 fruits a day. Keep away from fried food , soft drinks . Have small meals at regular intervals.Drink loads of water. That's all about the diet.
It would be great if you could add to that a bit of physical exercise and cardio workouts like walking and jogging. Walk for at least 40 minutes a day
Don't be worried so much. You will definitely lose weight. I don't think at this present moment you need any medications for losing weight.
I would also suggest you to consult with your doctor who has prescribed you the anti-depressant drugs . He can adjust the drug dosages or change the drug even.
Hope this helps. Have a nice day.
