How To Treat Wet Cough In A 5 Years Old Child?

my daughter is 5+. she gets wet cough often during winter. Doctor suspects mild wheezing. she was advised grilinctus 5ml X 3 times a day for 5 days. she has been having wet cough for almost 15 days. she has been prescribed INDIKOF - C 2ml X3 times a day X 5 Days recently.please advise whether to use the 2nd medicine or prescribe some other medicine.

Hi, since your child has wet grilinctus syrup will be more effective. If there is no response in 48 hours or other symptoms like fever, wheezing are present then the child will probably need antibiotics. I suggest you to start grilinctus and wait for 48 hours.
