How To Withdraw From Cipralex?

I have been on ciprolex for about three weeks. the first five days on 5 mg and 10 mg after that. I don t think I need it for my relatively mild depression/anxiety and the fatigue from it is interfering with my work. Can I quit cold turkey after such a brief time on it and given I was on a low dose?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Tablet Cipralex taken for 100 mg and 50 mg onwards should be monitored and evaluated as per need.

And depression and anxiety should be also controlled without medication if possible.

Do meditation and yoga. 30 min regular exercise every day. Don't take stress. 8 hour sleep is mandatory. This will help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
