How To Withdraw From Loramazapan?

Bad sleeper for last 12years. On loramazapan for that long! Does not seems to affect me much. Health risk involved? Would love to stop but not able to, tried lowering the dose to half a tablet than quater and than back on again. What can I do to stop I am 71 but very active and healthy , thank you

Brief: no long term health risks involved with lorazepam except dependence.

Details: you have been taking lorazepam tablets for insomnia since long. I think you have developed dependence on the drug.
You can follow sleep hygiene practices and then gradually withdraw from drug.
Avoid daytime naps, no heavy meals at bedtime, deep breathing and meditation regularly, avoid tea coffee alcohol at bedtime.
Visit a psychiatrist and withdraw drug under his supervision.
