How Will Antibiotics For UTI Cause Symptoms Of Yeast Infection?
I ve recently been given antibiotics for a UTI (a three day course) they ddidnt seem to work so the doctor the gave me a weeks course of cefalexin 500mg, and I m pretty sure, its caused me to have as yeast infection, I have the symtomes of white thick discharge and a very red and inflamed vagina and hymen. I still have 4 antibiotics left to take, would it be possible to treat the thrush now or to wait until I have completed the course of antibiotics?

If you have indeed contracted a yeast infrction, this will first have to be diagnosed by your doctor and yes, the treatment for the yeast infection may be initiated now and continued simultaneously with the antibiotics.
