How Will I Practice A Day Routine For Bowel Movement To 4 Year Old?

My 4 year old poops every night at 11:00 pm and has done so every since she has been potty trained. The only problem is she is asleep, has to wear a pullup to bed and she poops while sleep. She gets embarrassed about it and I don t know how to get her on a day schedule. I ve tried every thing and she still goes at night. Help!

I went through your details. You know your child better and you will be the best person to make a plan which works. Usually this comes under toilet training. I am not saying this training is very easy. But for sure, it will work.

Try this method. Please take your child exactly at 10.45 to toilet. Make her sit in the toilet till she poops. Mostly she will not do it. Continue doing it for a week and her habit will vanish. Even if she does it on the first time, it will not continue.

Also try this method. Do not allow her to sleep before 11. Tell her, you will go to sleep only after you poop. Within two days she will learn to poop before going to bed, and that is a healthy practice and can be changed later.
