Hurt Right Top Of Head. Iced It Immediately. Hurts To Bend, Touch. Matter Of Concern?

Last evening I was taking dishes out of the dishwasher. I stood up and hit the front right top of my head on the corner of a cabinet door. I put ice on immediately for around 10 minutes. It doesn't hurt unless I touch the spot (slight abrasion, no blood), but when I bend over, my head throbs at the point of injury. Is this something that should go away in a couple of days, or should I be more concerned. I did not have any symptoms of a concussion.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As there was blunt injury to head , so this developed contusion ( hematoma ) . When there is bending , you feel pain, this is a natural thing.
In my opinion nothing to worry wait for few days and you will be alright .
In my opinion no X ray , no any test .
Rest and wait are good for you. Dr. HET
