Hyperthyroid. How Long Does Thyroid Medication Take To Get Result?

Hi

I have a hyperactive thyriod and been perscribed to take 5mg of neomercazole 3 times day for my thyriod function and 5mg of Pur Blok for my fast heart beat once a day but I often have to take two sometimes if I'm feeling any anxiety at night. How long does it take for the thyriod medication to start feeling results and is it safe me to add 10mg of pur bloka sometimes? And how long does it take for the heart rate to slow down and return to normal?
Thanks

Thank for asking to HCM
Usually the medicine for hyperthyroidism give rapid result in very condition the effect delayed, and for that the reason of delayed response should be found out, the first thing, dose of drug, second any other pathology, third it should be 100% sure for hyperthyroidism, you can discus it with your doctor, of course in very rare situation patient respond lately, just weight for some time, have nice day.
