Hypothyroidism. Suffering From Irregular Period, Fasting Insulin Level Abnormal. Prescribed Glucophage And Krimson. Suggest

Hello Doctor

I am suffering from irregular period from last 3 years am married n 22 years old my geynecologist had prescribed me glyciphage sr 500 mg with krimpson35 I got my period last month but I want to know that whether I am diabetic or not because my PP level is 128 and my fasting insulin level is 24.3, and am also suffering from hypothyroidsm I am taking eltroxin 75 in morning.

Hi,
Your PP blood suger is normal & fasting insulin does not show insulin resistance ( Normal) So you are not diabetic.
The irregular periods seem to be due to hypothyroidism.Controll of thyroid problem should take care of your periods. You should consult your Endocrinalogist for adsjestment of doses.
Also get an abdominal sonography done to exclude PCOD.
