Hysterectomy Done To Remove Tissue Outside Uterus. Pain Persist. Possibility Of Missing Something During Surgery?
I had a hysterectomy 6 weeks ago, I am still having the same pain and just as bad, as before surgery. The surgery was done robotic. There was tissue on the outside of the uterus. I am thinking, that since the DR did it robotic and didn't open me up, that there was tissue connect to some of my organs and he didn't see it. Is this possible? I had to go for a stat cat scan yesterday, because another DR said I should not still be so tender and hurting like I am??
Hello Dear! Thank you for asking. The doctor you mentioned is right. 6 weeks is enough to relieve severe pain though some bearable pain will be there for which some antispasmodics like phloroglucinols would have been enough. Now that you have gone for Ct scan it will clear the situation as robotic surgeries can result in such discrepancies if not in proper hands but it is too early to say any thing about that. You need evaluation and examination and then it will be decided what is best for you.
Hope i was of help
