Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 47 year old white male. I just had a blood and urine test for my extended health care routine. I asked to be tested for STDs. The results tested negative for 7 out of 8 conditions. Atopobium Vaginae was the only detection. I can't seem to find a straight answer online tonight. What is it, what harm does it cause, and how might I have gotten it. I've had prostate infections and taken treatments for that and I'm currently taking testosterone injections for low T. I don't have a history of having sex with alot of different partners.
