I am a 63 yr. old female. I had a CT done a week ago and dx with bilateral inguinal hernias containing fat are demonstrated. I was told this many 20 + yrs. ago, but they were not bothering me as they are now. My left side aches almost constantly, and my stomach is nauseous. I have been told that most likely it is Diverticulosis prior to the CT. The surgeon yrs. ago, while doing my history, which includes positive factor five, then declined me as a surgical patient. I need relief from all this pain I am in. I have a follow up appointment with my PA this Friday. I hope to be able to pursue a different surgeon. Positive factor five should not scare away every surgeon should it?
