I Am Getting Irritation And Redness In My Vaginal Area And Am 18 Years Old. Is It Because Of Perfume ?
I used the perfume scented caress body wash in my vaginal area not knowing it would cause irritation and redness... I also just started seeing bumps that I never seen before and Im having white cloudy discharge. I am turning 18 in a month and I dont have any illnesses or anything, what could it be?

it seems to be allergic reaction.
is there any itching in that part?cetrizine 5 mg tab can cure the itching
is the discharge is associated with any smell/
you need a detail evaluation for the discharge.if its associated with strong odour then consult your gynecologist

the discharge does not smell at all
it was itching a little but not anymore and I stopped using the body wash and it seems to be healing.
I believe it was an allergic reaction, my mother and my cousin told me they used the body wash before and it did the same thing.

Hi,
There are many reasons for Vaginal irritation. You may have a vaginal infection or a yeast infection or a bacterial infection or vaginitis. Other causes may be from a chemical allergy . You may be allergic to certain soap or perfume or douche you are using.
Avoid sugar from your diet , as yeast occures from sugar intake, which can cause vaginal itch.
Yogurt is a great food to eat that not only helps keep infections away, but also can help cure them.
Wear loose cloths around vagina.
Change brands of laundry detergent, and try a softer kind.
Avoid store bought douches as well. Try switching the soap or body wash that you have been using.
Use anti-itch vaginal branded cream.
