I Am Rubella Positive And I Am Pregnant

hello doctor ...iam 26 years old...iam a pragnent and today i went to the hospital for monthly check up...its 11 weeks now and i got rubella test positive...what does it mean? doctor didnot tell me any thing about this? is this a serious problem or its normal? why do they test rubella? please solve my query....awaiting for the reply
