you require through clinical and lab evaluation to come to a conclusion what sought of disease you have. there are hundreds of conditions where your joints can get affected from simple viral fever to rheumatoid arthritis . If pain and swelling is persisting for long duration do not hesitate to contact a good Orthopaedic surgeon.
