I Am Suffering From Strong Chest Pain

Hi, I am 25 Y male on medication for acid reflux but suffering from constant pain in the chest since starting Pantoloc yesterday and today (was on Zantac for 5 days prior to it). The pain in chest is strong, not going away at all, it feels like i cant relax my chest, and still i can't burp properly as well as having continued shortness of breath, a randomly closing nose. I don't know what this is anymore. I still have gurgling in the stomach and throat clogging making me feel like i have to swallow.

(posted this as an answer to another question but mostly works here.)

took me years to figure out what my prob was: thought it was chest pain, thought it was my lungs at first, then when it got bad i thought i was having a heart attack. then it got REALLY bad and i realized that i could feel everything (food, spit) going down slowly and painfully. (after the initial feeling of "pill stuck in throat.")

then i heard - on "scrubs" no less - "what are the 5 main causes of chest pain?" one of them was gastro esophageal spasms! aha! started paying attention to when i get them. RED WINE PAIRED WITH CHOCOLATE SEEMS TO MAKE IT WORSE. CERTAIN MEDICATIONS SEEM TO MAKE IT WORSE. (just cuz the docs think you should take it doesn't mean your stomach thinks the same!) had it bad after dental work, thought it was my lungs from drilling dust, but it was this from the pain meds!

incidentally, you doctors should be ashamed of yourselves, suggesting painful and expensive tests and more drugs, when changing what and how you eat is such an obvious solution. FOOD ALLERGIES AND ALLERGIES TO AIRBORNE TOXINS, MOLD, DUST, POLLEN, ETC ARE A HUGE PROBLEM. AS IS DOCTORS PRESCRIBING PILLS LIKE CANDY...

Hi Mian Zeki, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
You have acid reflux disease. May be you should get yourself examined by a Gastroenterologist so that he can examine you and rule out if you have erosive gastritis via Endoscopy. Avoid Hot and spicy foods. Drink plenty of water and avoid stress. Sleep and eat on time. Do not overeat and have small meals 6 times daily. If you are overweight, exercise regularly and try losing your weight. Do not lie down immediately after meals and go for a brisk walk before you hit the bed. Avoid coffee, tea, carbonated beverages and junk.
Eat healthy fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
While sleeping sleep with your head end elevated.

Wish you Good Health.
