Hi, I am Dr Sonia S V. I am an ENT Surgeon & Head & Neck Specialist.Perhaps what you are desribing is a nasal twang in the speech. This can occur due to problems in the nose or in the palate[ plate of tissue separating the nose and palate. Rather than thinking of surgery immediately I would suggest you meet an ENT Surgeon in your locality. Many such cases can be easily treated by speech therapy also.

All the best
