I Do Have Scolosis On My Lower Back, Kindly Suggest

I cracked my ribs 14 years ago. when it heled the left side apeared to bulge but not most and never had pain. Now if I sit in tub and bend over to wash feet or try to paint toenails, sometimes my left rib under breast moves and I have to hold it until it goes back in place. Never any pain. I do have scolosis on my lower back, did not know that until 10 years ago. can this be related ?

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Thanks for your query
Your scoliosis has nothing to do with the fractured rib. As a significant time has passed and the rib remains ununited, a small surgery to fix the problem can be considered. However, it all depends upon the frequency of the problem and the impact on your quality of life. As such it seems it is not painful. I may instead suggest to learn the spine exercise and start doing religiously as scoliosis may become troublesome later.
Take care
