I Fractured Ribs 7-10 On Left Side. How Many Ribs Do We Have?

I fractured ribs 7-10 on left side. How many ribs do we have? Doctor said bottom ribs are not attached and take longer to heal - which ribs are those # 9 & 10? It feels like bottom rib is floating or scraping my insides. Thanks. I did not realize there was a cost involved. I am just curious.

We have 12 ribs on both side . After 8 next four ribs are not attached , so floating from front side.
