Hello

I am very happy to hear that you have quit smoking and drinking and would like you to continue that!!
The mucus will come down in another week or two and you should not worry about it.Please take lots of fluids and continue your drugs for acid reflux, that will help. you can also start gargling with warm salt water 3-4 times a day.
Thanks
