I Have A Lump & Also Get Pain Throughout My Entire Leg And Behind My Knee
Hi I m 34 years old 125lbs and 5 7. About 4 years ago I started getting severe leg pain. Then about a year ago this hard painful lump appeared on the outside of my left knee . It hurts to bend and to get up. I can hardly straighten my leg. I also get pain throughout my entire leg and behind my knee. The lump is hard and is very tender. About a month ago I had an x-ray but the x-ray showed nothing. I d really like some answers please

waiting for an answer to this one... I have the same issue. I am travelling extensively and is worst when I am sitting for long periods of time. i dont have access to good medical advice where i am but it is worrying me.

U seem to have developed some sort of locking of the knee. A hard swelling could arise from anywhere in the three bones of the joint - thigh, leg or ur knee cap. Since it is hard, i presume it is a "LOOSE BODY" in your knee - its origin can be from any of these structures.
Please consult an orthopedician - u may need MRI or arthroscopy to find out where it is arising from. Treatment is different for different conditions - i cannot throw any light now with this limited information.
