I Have About A Softball Size Bruise On My Lower

I have about a softball size bruise on my lower leg close to my knee, wasn't there last nite when I went to bed but is there now there is also a pretty good size knot under the bruise hurts to push on it any, it is hot or anything , I take Plavix but been on it for a year. I stop taking Gemfibrozil on the 23 rd of last month because when I started taking it a week later I was bruising every where my Regular did blood test they all came back normal, waiting on a apt with a blood specialist as of right now . Should I be worry about this bruise with knot under it.
