hi i currently have a thyroid problem and havent seen a doctor because of no insurance but since 6:00 am i have been have cramps on my neck and upper shoulders what can i do or is this normal or do i have to go to the er

Hello,
thyroid problems dont usually cause cramps in the neck and shoulders.You may have a local cause related to bone or muscle.I suggest you get xrays and see a doctor about this if the pain is too much.Or you can try hot fomentation and muscle relaxants and physical therapy.I'd suggest seeing a doctor though.
