I Have Been On A Birth Control For Menstration Issues

I have been on a birth control for menstration issues for about two years since September of 2014 and didn't have a check up last year but now need one on June 28th. My medicine works great will I have to get a pelvic exam? Extremely nervous about my hymen being checked my mother is very strict and I've only had tampons there. If it's broken my parents will assume it was my boyfriend which is 100 not true. Need answers.
