Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I Have Double-jointed Hips And My Hip Pain Is Getting Worse
I am a young woman who just turned 30. I have double-jointed hips (or so I think), and used to pop them in an out a lot in my youth. Recently, the joints are becoming more painful, the muscles very tight and I am now having a difficult time walking without a sort of limp. Both sides are very painful, and I have been told to get them checked out, but I am hesitant- (don't like going to the Dr.s). Does anyone have any ideas what is going on, what I should do, how long I should wait, etc?
Hi,
I think you problem appears to be habitual dislocation of hip leading to osteoarthritis leading to stiffness of hip joint and pain, I advise you to stop doing poping hip out and consult orthopedician soon.
Take care
