I Have Had Cramps And Discharge & No Period Yet. Am I About To Start My Period ?

Have been breast feeding my daughter for 16 months and have not had a period in over 2 years. I only breastfeed her now about 4 times a day. I have had cramps and discharge for 6-7 days now, also some back pain associated with the cramps. Just in case, I took a home preg. test. It was negative. Am I about to start my period ?

Hi... Lactation is known to cease menstruation.. It would take a few months for the menstruation to get back to normal if no other problems such as infection, stress, anaemia and other factors do not interfere.. Get your self assessed if any such factors are present, if there are no such factors menstruation will return back to normal in a few months...
