I Have Heart Pain And Dry Cough Problems
Dear Sir, i am 28 years old, from last 2 months i have cough problem ( dry cough ) a little amount of cough I always spit from mouth and I have a pain in my left side heart, I have also checked with a doctor he has already taken ECG and X-ray, he said ECG report is OK and X-ray report have some stain , now i am trying to fit very soon so please help or guide me what I have

Hi....thi si Dr. Kishore, dermatologist..dry cough without sputum is not infective one.. it is simple cough., due to irritation of pharyngeal mucous membrane (allergyic phenomenon) as per Ur findings in ECG is not significant of any cardiology problem..,X-ray is very important investigation...hence first do blood ESR.., and X-Ray reading (already taken ..,U mentioned some stain ..I hope it could be congestion...i.e. consolidation more favour to TB)) to exclude Pulmonary Tuberculosis ..o.k.consult Chest physician...

Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Your ECG is normal which rules out heart involvement.Your X-ray chest suggests some stain or spot on it.This could be pneumonia,tuberculosis etc.Unless and until you show the X-ray to us or show the report,it wont be possible to advise you.Consult the physician with your X-ray and report.Thanks and good luck.

as per your history, dry cough for two months could be cos of pleurisy .i.e the covering of your lung ..since u have no fever and other symptoms u can easily rule out infections...u can u take tab codeine sulfate once a day for relief of cough,considering u have no other complaints..get your AEC count done to rule out any allergic conditions which can cause this symptoms..take care
