I Have Post Abortion Lymph Node Pain.Should I Be Worried?
Hi, yesterday I recived a first trimester aspiration abortion , today I m having a sharp pain in my right pelvic/groin/abdomen lymph node. Its very uncomfortable to walk or stand for semi long periods of time. I called the clinic I used and they say it isn t an emergency. Is this normal? Is there any way to calm the pain? I ve been taking the medications they gave me properly. Should I be worried?

Hello,
You should not have any kind of excruciating pain in the pelvic area after an abortion.You need to have an ultrasound to rule out any problems.Normally,a course of antibiotics and painkillers are given but if the pain is unbearable,your lower abdomen is tender,distended,you are bleeding heavily then go see your doctor immediately.
