I Have Regular Heart Palpitations. What If My Ecg Comes Out Normal ?
I have regular heart palpitations, and they seem to be getting more and more noticable. I went to my GP, and she has made an appointment for me to have ecg etc, but she didnt seem to think anything was wrong with me, saying my blood pressure was normal and stuff. So I dont really understand, what if my ecg comes out normal ? will they just dismiss it and say its normal, because it causes a lot of distress to my life. I am 16 and a female by the way.

along with that you have any other symptom.if no then it may be due to sensitive nature.you can take jatamasi tab 2tab 2time for 1wk.

Anxiety is accompanied by palpitations. Have a consultation with a cardiologist. He would be able to ask you some well directed questions to evaluate your condition and prescribe investigations accordingly. If you have also noticed intolerence to physical activity as compared to before then it becomes imperative for you to consult a cardiologist.

Having reegular palpitation is one of eatures of anxiety disorder called Panic disorder.
Features include palpitation,restlessness,dry mouth,tingling numbness in limbs or coldness o extremities,sometimes choking like sensation and intense feeling like going to die...etc.
This is commonly seen in female of younger age.
If ur investigation normal and still u having frequently such episode then consult to ur Nearest Psychiatrist.
