I Have Stomach Ache And Blood In My Stool. My Gran Was Recently Diagnosed With Cervical Cancer

I m a 21 year old female and have been experience stomach problem for the past couple of weeks. It s constantly uncomfortable and i feel as though im going to be sick all the time. I ve recently discovered blood in my stools and have horrible cramps.( My gran was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer ). Should i be worried? What could the problem be?

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic Forum

The commonest cause for blood in stools are haemorrhoids and fissure , you have to consult a Surgeon for the same. Try not to have hard foods , the stools should be soft to prevent bleeding per rectum. Take laxatives for the same.

Cervical cancer being familial is very rare, hence need not worry.

I have Cervical Cancer And it all began with Rectal Bleeding they operated there then operated to remove tumors from my gall bladder and my ovaries,that soon developed over and over finally they stopped listening to me when I kept telling them there was still something wrong,they put me on pills for pain.I had to hemmorage 6 times before they finally sent me to a cancer Dr.I was examined test were run and it all came back that I was right all along and everything should have been removed when I first had tumors AT 18 not wait until I had a bad heart and was old. So please Insist your Dr send you for a full screening to a Dr that specializes, The most you can loose is a Dr fee, the best you can gain is to save your own life,Take this for what its worth from a old lady that put too much faith in her own Dr with out questioning anything and now its too late.
