I Have This Small Little Red Rash On My Adams Apple

I am an on and off smoker, I have this small little red rash lookin spot bout 1ine wide 1 in tall right on my adams apple and its been there for a few months now. It doesnt itch im just concerned.

It could be something related just to the skin I guess and that is the reason you are able to see some color changes. Also sometimes some changes in the blood vessels can produce a similar picture. Anyway a general surgeon opinion would be beneficial.
