I slipped & fell yesterday & have aching burning pain in my hip, could it be broken? I can still walk but it hurts when I sit or lay down I can not put pressure on that side. I wasn t sure if it was possible for a 29 yr old to break their hip or leg in a fall.

if you can walk chances of fracture are less but only X Ray can confirm it .

thank you...it's wasn't broken, I finally went in yesterday, I was trying to avoid the bill, but the pain was unbareable. turns out I probably landed on my ciatic (sp?) nerve & it's just a deep contusion.
