I Was Taking Metronidazole 500mg,is It Safe To Drink Alcohol?

I was taking metronidazole 500mg, i took my last dosage at 10 pm last night. Is it safe to drink alcohol NOW?

Actually metranidazole with alcohol produces disulferam like toxiety.

so never use this combination.

HI
METRONIDAZOLE & ALCOHAL SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN TOGETHER.
THERE SHOULD BE DIFFERENCE OF AT LEAST 24 HRS BETWEEN TWO DRUGS .
OTHERWISE HARMFUL REACTION MAY OCCUR.

if you drink alcohol you will be in hospital with in no time in ICU that to, avoid alcohol for atleast 48 to 72 hours after last dose of the metonidazole.
