IBS, Sensitive Stomach, Continuous Motions In The Morning Causing Difficulty In Exercising. Remedy?

hi i m 40 yrs of age and suffering from ibs as i v been told...my stomach is very sensitive and gets upset very quickly...mornings are a terrible nightmare for me as i hv to go to the washroom several times...i cnt undertake any morning walk or physical exercise ...as a result i feel very week...pls suggest some remedial measures

Hello,Mr.Gulati,
Sorry to hear that you are still having symptoms.
I hope that you have seen a digestive disease specialist before
you were diagnosed with IBS. Have you been tested for Lactose
Intolerance (Dairy products such as milk and cheese). Also have
you been tested for Celiac disease (Gluten sensitivity-gluten
present in Wheat,Barley and Rye products).
You can add bulking agents such as metamucil or similar supplements
to add fiber to improve the consistency of the stool.
Also over the counter medications like Loperamide will help control
diarrhea.
