Iced Injured Hand And Forearm But Still There Is Pain. Is It Broken?

Hi. I was practicing for upcoming cheerleading tryouts in my back yard, and did a standing back handspring on the grass. It must have been a bad idea to do it on the grass because the first few killed my wrists, and on my last one it hurt my forearm soooo bad! I didn't want to move my arm at all so I iced it, and it felt a little better but still hurt. When I woke up this morning I couldn't even straighten my arm out at all without a lot of pain, and when i turn my wrist it hurts a lot as well. Is it broken or can I go on without going to a doctor?

Hi thanks for your question.
Pain and restriction of movements could be due to muscle pull of any of arm muscle or due to fractur/ of any of arm bone or dislocation of any joint of arm.I would suggest you to consult an orthopediac specialist who may be able to examine you to determine exact cause of your problems. You may need X Ray of the arm and fore arm to establish cause of pain and restraction of movments.
Hope this answers your question.
