Good evening. As a result of neck trauma one night, last month (sleeping upright in a chair, and awakening with my neck contorted in a horrible position), I have had an imbalance while driving that is causing me incredible distress. At speeds greater than 30 MPH, I feel as if I've lost control of the vehicle, and that the car may flip right over. Metaphorically, it's like paddling a canoe on the high seas. I can walk up to 8 miles daily, with little or no awareness of the imbalance; the affliction is only present, while driving. I've consulted both a chiropractor and a massage therapist, but have met with no improvement. Does this sort of condition ever clear up on its own?
