In Amniocentesis Test What Are The Involved Risks?

Hi doc, i m 3 months Pregnant previously i had 2 miscarriges in 1st i have given birth 2 a baby girl in 32 weeks but the growth was of 29 weeks only i was having severe preeclamsia at that time 2nd miscarrige there was some cromosomal abnormality as per the geneticist instead of 46 cromosomes there were 47 cromosomes this time he told us to get done amneocentesis is that a risky process do i need that .... Pls help
