Increased Belly Size, Lost Tolerance For Any Food. Bloating And Burping. Could Turkey Cause This Problem ?
Thanksgiving break just ended and I have gotten increasingly big in my belly. I am an athlete, so usually when I eat too much I wake up the next morning and my bhudda belly is flattened to its regular shape. But now my stomachs tolerance of any food has gone down. I have been running but that doesn't seem to fix it like it used to. I have cut down the portions on my food and cut out all the junk food, but whenever I eat(even just a sandwich) my stomach gets bloated, and the next morning it doesn't go down. I also haven't gone to the bathroom very much and I have been burping ALOT. Was it the turkey?
Hi, Thanks and welcome to HCM. Eating more of any spicy food will generate such symptoms. Avoid spicy foods, chillies and sour foods which increase the acid secretion. Take bland diet small feeds frequently if required. Take Diovol tablets 40 mg 3 times daily. Take digestive enzymes twice daily after food . that give good relief within a week's time. If no improvement consult physican. Hope this answer will serve your purpose. Dr.M.V.Subrahmanyam.
