Increasing Blood Sugar Levels, Why Is It Happening ?

After 2 hours of my dinner, my blood suger levels are about 100...but the very next day morning the fasting sugar shows above 110.. why is it happening?

It can happen due to insulin surge that happens when you have a rich carbohydrate diet...switch to more of protiens indiet you will feel better. ..also at night the body stocks of glucose gets mobilised to be able to continue the basal body functions.

Hi,thanks for query.In any case both of your blood sugar reports are in normal range.So there is no need to worry.When ever you liver is more active,it makes sugar in absence of food, which leads to more fasting and low postprandial sugar.there is no need to worry,please check it on regular basis.Please take normal diet and if you have family history of diabetes then only you need to worry,bye.

This happens due to what is is commonly known as "Dawn phenomenon" or liver dump and nothing unusual.
