Infant Diagnosed With Pneumonia. Should I Go For Chest X-ray?

Hi I have a 2 month old son and we had both got sick with what I thought was just the flu I was getting worse and went to the ER and found out I have pneumonia ... My sons dr told me last week when I took him in it was just a cold and he would just get over it... Do I need to go back and request a chest X-ray? He s been screaming and crying all day and is pretty much inconsolable... What should I do?

Hi
For simple cold give ora antihistamine drops as advised by your doctor. Some times because of nose block in cold infants will be irritable and cry so instil saline nasal drops into each nostril to clear the nasal airway as advised by your doctor, Still child is irritable and inconsollable consult your pediatritian immediately
