Infant Gagging And Spitting. Presuming Something Is Stuck In Throat Performed Necessary First Aid. Only Temporary Relief
My 9 month old gags and throws up that he is eating. He was coughing like something was stuck on his throat. Held him I've my arm and patted his back, and did a finger sweep in his mouth (it was hard as he fought me). He seemed fine after that, breathing and acting normal. Then I go to give him his Bottle and he got halfway through before gagging and spitting it up again. I checked again and still nothing, but he is crawling around, talking and breathing normal. I think something may still be stuck, but can't be sure. Any suggestions?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I advise you not to tamper the kid by putting a finger inside the mouth this can cause infection or bad trauma if you have doubt for something in the throat then take the kid for medical examination instead, but for sure it may nit be any thing in the throat it is just act of kid and you reacting to it in other way, have nice day
