Infant Gets Rumbling Stomach Pain Every Time On Eating, Shows Reduction In Weight. Could This Be Acid Reflux?

Child I s 11 just a month ago son started having lactose problems we have eliminated that, but now every time he eats he has stomach pain like pinching and rumbling of the stomach. He had dropped in weight because he is scared to eat now. Could this be acid reflux? He gets nauseous as well, and he gets very anxious when he has that feeling, he drinks water but not a lot because he says that also causes stomach to rumble.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Gastroesophageal reflux produces esophagitis and this causes pain and this may be the cause of your child pain so consult Pediatrician as there may be need for prokinetic drugs and antacid like lansoprazole and sucral.
