Infant Has Loss Of Appetite, Underweight, Loose Motions,. On Zerolac Powder. What Is Wrong?

Hi, My Son is 19 months old and he eats very less. And when he eats, after few mins he have motion. He is underweight too and every now and then he gets loose motion. I consulted lots of doctors but no increase in weight or any major improvement.
Doctor said no for milk and he is on zerolac powder right now, because we generally see an increase in lose motion.
Note: he is very active and happy all the time. I am not concerned much about his weight but want to know that he is not having any deficiency.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

You have not mentioned the weight of your baby.
A mention regarding the weight could have helped me to comment on his growth and appetite.

It is normal for children of that age to pass stool after every feed. You need not worry regarding that unless there is blood or mucus in the stool.
Passing stool after every feed is called gastro colic reflux. That is normal for that age.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
