Infant Having High Fever. Had UTI In The Past. Need Help In Reading The Urine Test Result
hi, my daughter is 2yrs 9mths old. She is having high fever since 2days (gone up to 104.7F). We got her urine test done as she had UTI history. Her test result indicates Protein - +30mg/dl, Ketone bodies - Present ++++, RBC:Present trace, Pus cells 8-10/hpf, Epithelial cells:2-3, Casts: Epi ++, Hyaline +. Can you tell me if she has got the UTI again?

Your daughter definitely has an UTI again. Please get her admitted in the hospital and get her treated. It seems like her infection is serious with the reports that you have mentioned.
