Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Your child is having gastroenteritis mostly by a virus.

I advise you to continue the medication as advised by your doctor.

You can give his medication with using a spoon and medication can be mixed with milk.

Don't give drugs with force and while crying and resisting.

Be patient and give slowly with head elevated.

If the child cries or coughs, stop and give after some time.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
