Infant Having Problem Of Undecent Testis, Doctor Suggested 5 Injections. Will He Be Olright?.

Hello dr my sister son has a problem of un decent testis doctor suggest 5 injections will it be okey at this time boy age is 17 months old .is there any side effects on baby boy or any further complications. Please give me the right treatment what you suggest in this type of case . D o b is 24/ 04/ 12. .

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
Undescended tetis may be present at birth because of strong cremasteric spasm.
Usully it descends by one year of age.
If not You have to locate it by USG and bring it down by surgery.
Otherwise it will cause sterility and some times malignant transformation.
Better consult pediatric surgeon and take his opinion without fail.
