Infant Having Tiny Red Bumps On Her Bottom, Face Along With High Fever. Got Relief With Tylenol

My 8th month old child has a rash on her bottom and a few little red bumps on face. She doesn't have any blisters in the mouth or the ft. It's mostly on her bottom like a diaper rash. But they are more like blisters but tiny. Then a few around her mouth/face. One was even above her eyelid. One on the top of her hand and one on her leg. Nothing on back or stomach. She doesn't go to daycare and has not been around any other kids. She has not been out anywhere either. She originally got a diaper rash like 5 days ago. We thought it was diapers so we changed cream and diapers. It cleared up. Then Thur she had a really high temp and no rash. She was given tylenol Thur and Fri. Fri a even worse rash appeared. Then this morning all over. No temp anymore though.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
It could be exanthematous rash which is mostly viral in nature and takes few days to settle.
I suggest you to apply calamine 2 to 3 times over rashes.
Watch for 2 days and In case it persist or increase get her examined by pediatrician as physical examination will be needed for further management.

Hope this helps.
Wishing your baby good health.
God bless...
